Engineering & Quality Procedures

Every flow element we manufacture — orifice plate assemblies, flow nozzles, venturi tubes, averaging pitot tubes, wedge meters, cone meters, and aerofoils — is engineered, not just assembled. Our in-house design, manufacturing, and testing infrastructure allows us to take on standard, custom, and non-standard configurations with full traceability and confidence at every stage.

Engineering-Led Design

Every order begins as an engineering exercise, not a purchase order. Our team performs detailed sizing, mechanical, and material calculations in-house before a single component is manufactured.

  • Flow element sizing per ISO 5167, ASME MFC-3M, ASME PTC 19.5, and AGA standards
  • In-house sizing and simulation software for DP-based flow calculations across gas, steam, and liquid applications
  • 3D CAD modeling and mechanical design for standard and non-standard geometries
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural calculations for high-pressure, high-temperature, and custom-flanged configurations can be done on request
  • Material selection engineering based on process conditions — pressure, temperature, corrosion, and erosion service

Manufacturing Capability

Our manufacturing setup is built to handle non-standard and application-specific requirements, not just catalogue configurations.

  • In-house machining and fabrication for custom line sizes, ratings, and end connections
  • Qualified welders with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) covering materials up to P91 alloy steel
  • Capability to execute non-standard configurations, special flange ratings, and application-specific mechanical designs
  • Dedicated process for handling exotic and high-alloy materials

In-House Testing & Quality Control

Every critical component undergoes documented testing at our own facility before dispatch, ensuring quality is verified — not assumed.

  • Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT) for surface and weld integrity
  • Radiography Testing (RT) for weld and casting soundness
  • Hydrostatic pressure testing — in-house test bench rated up to 400 bar
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI) for verifying alloy composition and traceability
  • Additional NDT and inspection procedures as required per project specification and applicable codes

Welding Qualification & Special Configurations

High-pressure, high-temperature, and critical-service applications demand welding expertise beyond standard procedures.

  • Qualified welding procedures (WPS/PQR) up to P91 alloy material
  • Experience with non-standard configurations and application-specific mechanical designs
  • Full weld traceability with documented qualification records for critical service applications

Quality, for us, isn't a final inspection step — it's built into every stage, from the first calculation to the final test certificate. This engineering-first approach is what allows us to confidently take on customized, critical, and non-standard flow measurement requirements that standard suppliers often cannot.
