5-Valve Manifolds
Full block, bleed, equalize and calibrate function — with independent vent valves on each side for liquid, steam and hazardous fluid service where trapped process fluid must be safely released.
View SpecificationsBETLOCK 5-Valve Manifold
The 5-Valve Manifold is a valve assembly used with differential pressure (DP) transmitters where both the high-pressure and low-pressure sides need independent isolation and venting, in addition to equalizing. It consists of two block valves, one equalizing valve, and two additional vent valves, one on each side. This configuration allows each side of the transmitter to be vented to the atmosphere separately during calibration or removal, which is particularly useful for applications where trapped process fluid must be safely vented, such as on liquid, steam, or hazardous fluid service, rather than relying on the equalizer alone.
Bhavyam offers all BETLOCK manifolds and valves under the BETLOCK range of products. Design & engineering is done as per global standards to meet challenging process demands.

Frequently asked questions.
What is a 5-valve manifold and how is it different from a 3-valve manifold?
A 5-valve manifold has all the functions of a 3-valve manifold (two block valves and an equalizer) plus two additional vent valves, one on the high-pressure side and one on the low-pressure side. This allows each side of the transmitter to be vented to the atmosphere independently, which is useful where trapped liquid, steam, or hazardous fluid must be safely drained or vented rather than only equalized.
When should a 5-valve manifold be used instead of a 3-valve manifold?
A 5-valve manifold is preferred for liquid, steam, or interface-level DP applications where fluid can remain trapped in the impulse lines after isolation, and where this fluid needs to be safely vented or drained before the transmitter is removed. A 3-valve manifold is generally sufficient for dry gas services where equalizing alone is adequate.
Can the vent valves on a 5-valve manifold be used for routine draining?
Yes. The vent valves allow the high-pressure and low-pressure sides to be drained or vented individually during calibration, maintenance, or when flushing the impulse lines, without needing to disturb the main block or equalizing valves.
