Gas Flow Meter
Compact Orifice-Based Gas Flow Metering System — for natural gas, biogas, compressed air & other dry gases
Gas Flow Meter
Our Compact Orifice-Based Gas Flow Metering System is an integrally engineered flow measurement solution designed for accurate, repeatable measurement of dry gases including Natural Gas, Biogas, Compressed Air, Nitrogen, and other process/utility gases. The system combines a compact orifice assembly with integral metering pipe sections and a direct-mounted multivariable transmitter — eliminating the impulse tubing, condensate pots, and manifold valves associated with conventional DP metering runs.
This integral construction significantly reduces installation footprint, potential leak points, and commissioning time, while the multivariable transmitter delivers live density, pressure, and temperature-compensated mass flow output from a single instrument.
Being a compact, self-contained metering run, the system is ideal for space-constrained installations, skid-mounted packages, and applications where a traditional flanged orifice run with separate impulse piping is impractical.

Key features engineered in.
- Integral, compact design — orifice, metering pipe, and transmitter form a single mountable spool piece, minimizing footprint and leak points
- No impulse lines or condensate pots — direct-mount transmitter eliminates wet/dry leg issues common to remote DP installations
- Live density compensation — multivariable transmitter continuously corrects for pressure and temperature variation, critical given the variable composition of biogas and other process gases
- Suitable for multiple dry gas services — natural gas, biogas, compressed air, nitrogen, and other non-corrosive/dry gas streams
- Reduced installation & commissioning time — factory-assembled and calibrated as a single unit, reducing field welding, tubing, and leak-testing
- High reliability — no moving parts, no impulse tubing to freeze, block, or leak
Applications we serve.
- Biogas flow measurement (digester gas, landfill gas, CHP feed)
- Natural gas custody transfer and process metering
- Compressed air flow measurement (utility & instrument air)
- Nitrogen and other inert gas metering
- Fuel gas measurement for boilers, burners, and gensets
- Gas distribution and plant utility monitoring
